imaginando abraços

my safe place is a memory i’ve never had. 

a memory of a long shift in the hospital and coming back home to you. to find you existing in our little universe, being the sunshine you’ve always been. 

a memory of days and nights of laughs and slow dancing in our kitchen as the rain falls down the window. and then i fall on the floor cause i have no rhythm. we laugh and you help me get up. we kiss and we hug and we start dancing all over again. just the two of us, happy together.

my safe place are days and months and years of a lifetime i’ve never had. memories from a far away future that seem to come to me on my darkest moments. 

memories of days with you, next to you. of a lifetime of only the two of us. in our small little universe.
